Tonight’s headline is one of the boldest claims of the season so far.

Jonathan Wheatley says he is in a unique position to sign Max Verstappen.

That is a massive statement.

Because while everybody in Formula 1 would love to have Max Verstappen, very few people can seriously claim they could actually make it happen. In this video, we break down why Wheatley thinks Aston Martin could be a real option, what his relationship with Max, Jos Verstappen and Raymond Vermeulen could mean, and the huge reasons why Verstappen still might never agree to it.

We also get into more Aston Martin drama, with fresh reports that the FIA will not move early to help Honda and Aston Martin, despite Adrian Newey pushing hard over the scale of the team’s power unit problems.
