Kimi Antonelli starts from pole after a brilliant qualifying lap of 1:28.111, completing a huge Saturday after also winning the Sprint earlier in the day. Charles Leclerc starts second for Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton starts third at his home Grand Prix, and George Russell lines up fourth for Mercedes. Behind them, Isack Hadjar starts fifth for Red Bull, Lando Norris sixth for McLaren, Max Verstappen seventh, Oscar Piastri eighth, Arvid Lindblad ninth and Liam Lawson tenth. That gives us a massive British GP setup: Antonelli defending, Ferrari attacking, Hamilton chasing a home result, Russell hunting points, Verstappen needing a comeback, and McLaren trying to recover. β‘ CAN HAMILTON WIN AT HOME? This is the big Silverstone question. Hamilton already produced a huge moment by taking Sprint pole on Friday, and now he starts the Grand Prix from third in Ferrari red. If Ferrari have race pace, Hamilton and Leclerc could put real pressure on Antonelli into Turn 1 and through the opening laps. But Antonelli has momentum, Mercedes have speed, and Russell will not want his team-mate controlling the race alone. π RACE PRESSURE The British GP could be decided by tyre management, strategy and timing. Silverstone punishes cars that slide too much through the high-speed corners, and the long run through Copse, Maggotts, Becketts, Stowe and Club will expose who has balance, downforce and tyre life. Verstappen starts only seventh, so Red Bull need a big recovery drive. McLaren also need Norris and Piastri to move forward after qualifying behind the main fight. Every pit stop, DRS battle, safety car threat and tyre call could change everything. π LIVE DATA + MINI TRACK Follow along with live timing, mini track visuals, sector updates and Tony Craigβs live commentary as the British GP unfolds.
