With China being a sprint weekend and only one practice session available, the pressure is massive on Aston Martin, Honda, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.  That concern was only made worse after Lance Stroll’s brutal post-race verdict in Australia. Stroll said Aston Martin had “no” improvement in the vibration issue, adding that the team had “no speed and no reliability” after Melbourne.  We also cover the latest twist in the Christian Horner story. After Toto Wolff’s surprise Alpine move, fresh reporting suggests Horner’s most likely destination inside Formula 1 could now be Aston Martin, which would add even more drama to the Silverstone team’s future.  There is also growing concern in the paddock about Toto Wolff’s Alpine talks, with rivals reportedly watching closely amid fears that Alpine could become a Mercedes-aligned second operation in all but name.  On the Red Bull side, we break down claims that an overweight RB22 cost Max Verstappen around two to three tenths per lap in Australia, while Verstappen also revealed he had no battery at the race start after it drained on the formation lap.  And finally, there is a bigger long-term question around Max’s future, with reporting today suggesting some inside Red Bull believe Verstappen could step away from F1 before the end of his current deal.
