George Russell starts from pole for Mercedes after a dramatic qualifying session at the Red Bull Ring, with Charles Leclerc second and Lewis Hamilton third for Ferrari. Kimi Antonelli starts fourth after topping every practice session, while Max Verstappen starts fifth after crashing late in Q3. That gives us a huge race setup: Mercedes on pole, Ferrari attacking, Antonelli chasing, Verstappen needing a comeback, and McLaren trying to fight back with Norris and Piastri. ⚡ WHO CONTROLS THE RED BULL RING? Austria is short, fast and brutal. The Red Bull Ring gives us heavy braking, big DRS zones, track limits pressure, tyre management and constant traffic. One safety car, one slow stop or one tyre cliff can completely change the race. Russell has track position, but Ferrari have two cars right behind him. Hamilton arrives with momentum after Barcelona, Leclerc needs a big result, and Antonelli still looks like one of the fastest drivers of the weekend. Behind them, Verstappen will want revenge at Red Bull’s home race after his qualifying crash. 👀 RACE PRESSURE This race could be all about strategy and nerves. Can Mercedes convert pole into victory? Can Ferrari use Leclerc and Hamilton to pressure Russell? Can Antonelli recover from fourth and turn practice pace into a podium? Can Verstappen fight back from fifth at the Red Bull Ring? And can McLaren rescue a result after qualifying behind the main fight? With live timing data, mini track updates and Tony Craig’s live commentary, we’ll follow every overtake, pit stop, tyre call, team radio message and race-changing moment. 📊 LIVE DATA + MINI TRACK Follow along with live timing, mini track visuals, sector updates and full F1 Live race reaction as the Austrian GP unfolds.
