Lewis Hamilton grabbed Sprint pole for Ferrari with a 1:28.376, beating Kimi Antonelli by just 0.011 seconds in a brilliant home crowd moment. Max Verstappen starts third, Charles Leclerc fourth, George Russell fifth, Lando Norris sixth and Oscar Piastri seventh. That gives us a massive Sprint setup: Hamilton leading in Ferrari red, Antonelli chasing for Mercedes, Verstappen attacking for Red Bull, Leclerc right there in the second Ferrari, and McLaren needing to fight back after a difficult Sprint Qualifying. ⚑ CAN HAMILTON WIN AT HOME? This is the big question. Hamilton has put himself in the perfect position, but Silverstone is never simple. The Sprint is short, aggressive and unforgiving, with very little time to recover if the start goes wrong. Antonelli has the pace to attack, Verstappen will look for any opening, and Leclerc could be a major Ferrari weapon if he gets a clean launch. Behind them, Russell, Norris and Piastri need to make early moves before the race settles. πŸ‘€ SPRINT RACE PRESSURE The British GP Sprint could tell us a lot before Grand Prix qualifying and race day. Tyre warm-up, battery deployment, DRS trains, dirty air and high-speed balance through Copse, Maggotts, Becketts and Stowe will all matter. Hamilton needs to control the start. Antonelli needs to stay close. Verstappen needs to attack. McLaren need answers. Ferrari need to prove Sprint pole was not a one-lap miracle. πŸ“Š LIVE DATA + MINI TRACK Follow along with live timing, mini track visuals, sector updates and Tony Craig’s live commentary as the British GP Sprint Race unfolds.
